Saal Digital Photobook Review

I have always banged on about the vitures of printed image over just a digital image that lives on your phone, PC or worst still a CD-rom disc gathering dust. In the fast moving world of technology, things that were all the rage once are now being phased out. Take for example CDs, introduced in the 80s they were awesome for digital storage, and quick access to your files. Now however, fewer and fewer brands are incorporating DVD drives into their systems, Apple have done away with these ( and now they are phasing out USB 3 and introducing USB c across their range.)

That is why I have always provided my clients with either prints or coffee table style books, which don’t need upgrades, charging,  or the latest firmware. A few weeks back I was asked to try out a new product by Saal Digital.  I opted for the Hard Back printed book with 20 pages for a kids themed shoot I do in the studio.

The process was quite easy, uploading the images to the Saal Digital webiste  –  the software was easy to navigate, and the layouts were easy to design. The layouts had some additional themed templates, like birthdays, princess and kids themes.

After 30 mins, the design was done, and all to do was wait 7 days for delivery.

When the book landed at the studio, I was pleased with  glossy cover, and the quality and feel of the book.  The pages were sturdy had a nice photographic feel to them, and the colours were bright and bold. Perfect for the Little Monkeys I photographed and at a price point that makes it eay for everyone to their very own Coffee Style Photo Book.
