Bengali wedding Photographer Meridian Grand London. When booking a venue you have to consider a various things. Accessibility, parking, catering capacity and how photogenic it is or could be. The magnificent Meridian Grand, London ticks all those boxes, and more. This Amazing venue has a capacity of 800. And is a flexible space for all Asian Weddings. Its centre piece is the Dual aspect marble staircase, which makes a beautiful backdrop for a relaxed reception and some amazing wedding portraits.

The featured wedding, maximised the space with lavish decor with plenty of colour. The highlight of the entrance was the family being walked in by saxophonist and funky dhol drummers. While outside there was a cavalcade of super cars with the grooms car of choice was a yellow wedding Lamborghini.

The Meridian Grand and its team of wedding planners put on a awesome wedding. The team and I have worked there many times and each time the events just become grander.

A cool but emotional Muslim Wedding in Birmingham

The pace of the day started out a nice steady pace for this Pakistani Wedding, the family were pottering about the house getting ready. The odd occasional mention from dad that car will be here soon. The grooms sister shouts out “has anyone seen my heels” and mum is looking for the confetti. Then were off, the wedding car speeds off and I follow. What ensures is a cool but emotional Pakistani Wedding. at the

Greeted by almost all of guests outside the Badshah Palace in perry barr. The brides sisters stopped the Barrat from getting in, demanding almost £2000 for the chance to step inside. After some hard negotiations – they settled on £10 each for the cousins, and some jewelry for the older siblings.

The grooms family escorted him to the stage, for the formal pictures and to get ready for the Nikkah. His bride to be was sitting upstairs, covered in a red veil to ensure her privacy among the hustle bustle of the insisting guests, which is the norm at a Pakistani Wedding.

Post Nikkah, the wedding begins, the grand entrance down two flights of stairs and the walk to the stage. Both eyes look up and for the first time in days get to see each other. A smile washes over the grooms face, and small smile radiates from the bride. The rest as they say, well its the start of their new life.

Moor Park Golf Club Photographer London. Your Getting married, in one of grandest venues in north-west London, Moor Park Golf Club. Your friends and family are gathering downstairs for the registry wedding. What’s on your mind? nerves, butterflies, the future? No, not for our groom to be. He wants to play a quick game of billiards! What better way to calm the nerves and get in the right “frame” of mind, and an awesome opportunity to grab some off-piste wedding pictures.

When the time comes, our groom said his wedding vows with ease and the odd mix up of words but he got there. An elegant and short ceremony, which are always challenging, and means I have limited opportunity to get the shots that capture the moments and atmosphere, but by Jove did we get them. The ceremony was followed by a champagne reception and canapes.

The wedding portraits, we had a short time to get some relaxed but stylised images, that both captured their love for each other and the grandness of the venue. The wrap balcony and painted ceiling make Moor Park Mansion and an absolute joy to photograph and has led them to become one of the top-rated venues for Asian Weddings.

Luton & Bedfordshire Asian Wedding Photography

St Albans & Luton Asian Wedding don’t get much awesome than this. An early start as always. For the photographer this means getting to the venue early to capture the arrival of the guests to the registry office in St Albans. Photographing the steady arrival of guests sets the scene for the wedding book. The candid and relaxed pictures are essential in illustrating the mood. The short ceremony included a reading from a friend. One of the more emotive moments of the ceremony was the three empty seats, which had reserved placed on them with the names of those who had passed away.

Post ceremony, the organising of the wedding party for the formal groups is always challenging. Wandering uncles, and misplaced aunties always take time to find. After 20 mins, we managed to get the formals done. Then off to the old Nunnery in St Albans for the wedding portraits. The crumbling walls, blue sky’s and late afternoon light were the perfect combination for stunning pictures.

After the shoot, the groom sped of in his sports car, and we were left with the bride. So we crammed her and her dress in the small jeep and headed off to Luton, the couples home to get ready for part two of the day.

The low key ceremony in St Albans gave way to the glamorous and more opulent evening reception. The bride collected by a limousine with her family, arrived majestically at the Meridian Grand, London. Greeted by 500 guests, we were in for a Big ole Asian Wedding. This is what a St Albans & Luton Asian Wedding feels like.

The Big Greek wedding at Andaz Hotel

Wedding photography Andaz Hotel London. Emma & Ross’s wedding at the Andaz Hotel London, was a perfect example of style meets emotion. The day started off with a lot of activity in the bridal suite. The feel in the room was almost party like, 6 friends getting ready for a big day. At times emotions did run high, the odd hug here and there and the occasional tear.

While in the Pub on the corner, the boys were chatting and laughing over a couple of jars. Not about the wedding but about suits and football. Well what did you expect. The light heartiness of the groomsmen meant that I could capture some very relaxed and casual moments.

The civil ceremony was at a gentle pace, with a handful of friends and family just the way the wanted, followed by a few glasses of champagne in the light filled mezzanine on the first floor. So while guests were enjoying their drinks I took the newly weds off for some early wedding portraits.

The Andaz has some amazing opportunities, and the Masonic Halls, wow just an amazing place for pictures.

But then the wedding breakfast was a no hold barred fusion of Greek traditions and Essex partying. The partying went down well set amongst the old world charm of the hotels dinning rooms, the speeches were epic with some side splitters which is always good for candid style shits. The British Institute of Professional Photography

I have been a member of the The British Institute of Professional Photography for some time now. I joined The BIPP back in 2011, to learn new skills, and be a apart of a world recognised institution that offers photographers

Over the last few years, I have slowly been a little more proactive, with the BIPP and the members across the world. I have learnt a lot from being a part of it, and finally in the summer of 2020 I took the leap to give back and be a little more part of it. I was nominated to be the Regional Chair for the SE region. In sept the regional elections where held, and to my surprise I was voted in as Regional Chair of the South East Region of the British Institute of Professional Photography.

The BIPP is recognised across the world as a benchmark of excellence, with the Institute’s tiered qualification structure offering photographers continual professional development.

My role will be to work alongside the head office organising regional and local events, workshops and meetings to help train, educate, support and qualify professional photographers in the region.

It’s a great honour to be able to represent a long-standing institution like this, at a regional level, and to be responsible for the development of professional photography in the region is to say the least humbling.

For over 100 years the British Institute of Professional Photography has been supporting and providing a voice of the photographers, and to be added to that voice fills me with pride. I know its not easy for the industry now, but that’s what the BIPP is there for, to support, nurture and provide a voice to photographers. I am looking forward to working with the current members as well as welcoming new members to the British Institute of Professional Photography.

From wildfires to floods and storms, extreme weather events and natural disasters are becoming increasingly common not just around the world but closer to home, with warmer winters and longer summers.

In the fight against climate change, it can be easy to feel powerless and give up hope. But although it might seem that our individual choices make little impact, they can actually make a big difference if we all come together.

One step is is to to make Asian weddings more sustainable, and this is one example of where we can all make a big difference. As a new guide from 77 Diamonds makes clear, weddings are a potentially huge source of waste – and there are a range of simple ways we can make them sustainable. Balloons and confetti, for example, are highlighted as one significant contributor to unrecyclable waste, and it’s quite easy to find sustainable alternatives for these. Other sustainable solutions include using eco-friendly attire, avoiding plastic cups and cutlery, and finding local suppliers wherever possible. Some of the other top takeaways from the guide include:

Can Asian Weddings finally be allowed again as lockdown eases. The UK government have announced weddings can happen again but in small numbers and only the actual ceremonies. But what does that mean for Asian Weddings. Is the 30

Nikkah (Muslim Ceremony) – not a major issue – as you require the Imaam, The Couple, and two witnesses to the Nikkah to be official. The other aspect to think about is that the Nikkah need to be in a mosque either so these can happen. With Social Distance measures in place.

Vivaah Sanskar The Hindu Wedding Ceremonies – A little more complicated. As there are so many traditions in place that cant happen with out a set number of people. There is no minimum number from a Hindu perspective. Kanyadaan is key. Someone must offer the hand in marriage, usually mother and father.

And then there are roles. 4 married ladies at the end. A minimum of 1-4 brothers. 2 sisters. That’s it really. So Hindu weddings can go ahead, with a total of 30.

Anand Karaj – The Sikh Wedding Ceremony – must happen in a Gudwara, and again needs a minim number of people involved in the actual ceremony due to the many facets that the ceremony has.

What is Asian Wedding photography? It is a genre of photography that specialises in and is primarily focused on documenting and photography of events and activities relating to Asian weddings.

The art of Asian wedding photography is a multifaceted skill and requires knowledge and expertise in different styles of photography and can include styles like portrait photography, documentary or reportage photography, product and food photography and elements of fashion photography. A good wedding photographer will expertly and seamlessly bring all these together to produce wedding photographs.

It also requires the photographer to have two unique skills that are essential in being able to produce memorable moments and personable photos of the day. These are being a people person and a being able to managing situations. These two skills, or traits are the defining factors for a wedding photographer. As a people person you should be able to read, understand and preempt peoples actions and response. And be confident to interact with guests, families and the wedding couple. Keeping a level head, is vital when 99% of the day is out of your control. You need to be able be fluid and work around problems that come up in the wedding planning process. Also things like technical issues ( both kit and environment) managing weddings guests , and most important of all time management.
